DoD Tuition Assistance Top-Up Eligibility:

If your course costs exceed what is covered by the Department of Defense (DoD) Tuition Assistance (TA) program, eligible students can use the Top-Up benefit to help cover the remaining balance.

CHAMPVA Health Care Benefits:

Spouses, dependents, or survivors of a Veteran with certain service-connected disabilities may qualify for health care benefits through the Civilian Health and Medical Program of the Department of Veterans Affairs (CHAMPVA).

Yellow Ribbon Program:

The Yellow Ribbon Program helps non-resident students cover out-of-state tuition costs.

  • Eligibility: Students must be using Chapter 33 (Post-9/11 GI Bill®) or Transfer of Entitlement (TOE) benefits at the 100% entitlement rate.
  • Funding: Utah Tech waives up to half of the difference between non-resident and in-state tuition, and the VA matches that amount. Students are responsible for any remaining balance.
